It is with great sorrow that we share the passing of long-time board member and past board chairman, George W. Morin.
George became involved with Attleboro Enterprises, Inc. (AEI) during its early years, and was a driving force in expanding the programs provided to individuals with cognitive and medical challenges in the greater Attleboro area.
George held the position of board chairman for over twenty years. Under his leadership and guidance, Attleboro Enterprises promoted employment opportunities for the men and women we support, initiated medically based Day Habilitation services, and incorporated two property development companies that built fully adapted housing for residents of the Dever Developmental Center. George was instrumental in moving AEI to its present location in North Attleboro.
In honor of this significant achievement, the entrance to our administrative offices bears the name; George W. Morin. The entire Attleboro Enterprises organization expresses their deepest sympathy to his wife Cindy and the Morin family. George W. Morin’s contributions to our organization and the individuals we serve are indelibly etched in our history.
