During this time of concern regarding the Coronavirus, we are instituting the following procedures in our day programs to maintain a safe environment for all program participants and staff members:

When program participants enter the building, they should be instructed to wash their hands with soap and water for 20 seconds. Staff members are instructed to do the same.

Before and after all breaks, all program participants and staff members should wash their hands with soap and water for 20 seconds. Tables should be wiped down with a diluted bleach solution.

All community activities will be suspended until further notice.

Individuals who have outside jobs will be transported by one staff member only.

Coffee groups will be held in the AEI facility. A staff member will pick up coffee and bring it back to the classroom for distribution to program participants.

Cooking class will be suspended for the time being. Please check with your program manager for further guidance.

If a program participant reports to the program with cough or symptoms of a cold or flu, the program participant should be isolated from others until the program nurse can screen the participant.
We are continuously reviewing the CDC website for daily updates and further guidance.
