AEI takes referrals from MassAbility for individuals looking for Comprehensive Career Services. Currently, we work with nine area offices in Southeastern Massachusetts: Braintree, Brockton, Fall River, Framingham, New Bedford, Plymouth, Southbridge, Taunton, and Worcester.

Our participants have a high probability of obtaining and maintaining employment - over 80% of our consumers have achieved successful Supported Employment Outcomes (SEO). We attribute our success to our positive working relationship with our community partners.

New referrals will meet with a member of our employment team for an initial meeting to ensure we're the best fit. From there, we'll schedule an intake to identify their vocational goal and determine the necessary employment supports. From there, individuals might participate in work readiness preparation, in addition to job placement and development services. We often work in collaboration with the Department of Developmental Services (DDS) and the Department of Mental Health (DMH) to ensure individuals receive the support they need.

The individuals we support are interested in working in a wide variety of fields, from entry-level positions in restaurants and retail to other long-term career fields, such as accounting, childcare, and HVAC. We strive to match employers with staffing needs with qualified candidates.
